PTP4 A3基因对肿瘤生长及转移的影响

摘要：PTP4A3 is an oncogene,which encodes phosphatase of regenerating liver(PRL)-3 protein that is a metastasis-associated phosphorylase. At present,a number of studies have found that it promotes cell proliferation, cell motility,cell invasion,tumor metastasis and epithelial-mesenchymal transition. Therefore,it is inseparable with the occur-rence and development of cancer. Here,we summarize the relationship between PTP4A3 gene and the occurrence and de-velopment of cancer,the alteration of PTP4A3 gene expression and the functional role of PTP4A3 gene in a variety of canc-ers. This review will help us to understand the correlation between PTP4A3 gene and cancer as well as the mechanism of signaling pathway,providing new insights of PTP4A3 gene targeting strategy for treating cancer.
